From March 30 to April 8, 2025, a delegation from Zambia's ZCCM-IH, accompanied by Wonderful Group and Sinogreat Group, conducted a 10-day inspection and study tour in China

The focus of this visit was an on-site evaluation and due diligence of the operational activities  undertaken by JIANGSU SINO-GREAT TRADING CO.,LTD.,.  The focus also included  in-depth financial data analysis, logistics, trading and    profiling which , the delegation comprehensively assessed the efficiency of  the cross border trade of the company.

   

Subsequently, the team visited large-scale phosphate fertilizer and urea plants to study advanced production processes and management practices. During their stay in Wuhan, the ZCCM-IH delegation held strategic meetings regarding Zambia''s urea and phosphate fertilizer projects. They attended presentations by China Wuhuan Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. on mineral processing and production processes for the phosphate fertilizer project.

   

A key highlight of the trip was witnessing the official signing of the EPC contract for Zambia’s Monoammonium Phosphate Project between Sino Great Chemical Company Limited and China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. The project will adopt a modular construction approach and utilize China’s independently developed hemihydrate wet-process phosphoric acid technology. Upon completion, it will become the first zero-emission phosphate chemical production base in Sub-Saharan Africa.

   

   

During the technical inspection segment, the delegation visited four leading chemical enterprises along the Yangtze River Economic Belt:
1.Songzi Stanley-Yihua: Focused on learning closed-loop management of phosphogypsum utilization via DCS and MES systems.
2.Hualu-Hengsheng (Jingzhou): Observed smart control systems for synthetic ammonia-urea flexible co-production units.
3.Yidu Xingfa Chemical: Explored wet-process phosphoric acid purification technologies for adapting to African mineral resources.
4.Hubei Sanning Chemical: Exchanged insights on circular economy models in coal-based urea production.

5.Three Gorges Dam: Digital solutions for the mega hydropower hub in areas such as power dispatch and ecological flow control.
